Installing the Boldem add-on and pairing it with the Boldem app is very simple and requires just a few steps:

  1. Order the Boldem add-on from your Shoptet account page.
Note: You cannot order the Boldem add-on for Shoptet accounts that are on a trial.
  2. After completing the installation on Shoptet’s side, you will receive the authentication code: at your shop’s email address.

  1. If you already have a Boldem account, log in, or contact our sales representative to have a new account created.
  2. First, you need to create a mailing list to import contacts from your online store into. If you haven’t created one yet, select Mailing lists in the left menu of the Boldem app and create a new one.
  3. In Settings select Integration and click New integration.
  4. For the Integration type, choose Shoptet.
  5. Enter the authentication code copied from the email and select the mailing list to which you want to import recipients from your online store.
  6. Click Save.

The first data sync will occur within about one hour after the integration is completed. The system imports names and emails of registered users, pricing information, customer type, unsubscription details, and billing and shipping addresses. We’re working hard to add more features to the add-on.

Data between Boldem and the Shoptet platform are fully synchronized every 60 minutes. We recommend accounting for this delay when planning automations.

  2. Click the Edit button for your online store.

Once visitors start coming to your online store, you can track their movement, orders placed, and carts in the Website activity section of the Boldem app. You can also use advanced automation features to respond to your customers’ behavior.

You should know

  • Information about an abandoned shopping cart reaches the Boldem app only after a user adds a product to the cart and then navigates to another page. If the user only adds a product to the cart and immediately closes the page, the data will likely not appear in Boldem.
  • Due to a temporary technical limitation, Boldem only loads the default category assigned to each product. If a product is assigned to multiple categories, you may need to specify all categories the product belongs to when segmenting so that automations work correctly. See details in the chapter Loading and processing categories from Shoptet in automations.
