Syntactic errors in the web preview of the template.

There are two cases when, after clicking the link to view the web version, you will see the error message “Template contains syntax errors“.

If this message appears after clicking a link in your email inbox, it is an error and you need to contact customer support.

If you see the error message “Template contains syntax errors” after clicking the link to view the web version in the template preview (either in the template editor or in the campaign details), this is not a problem but a technical limitation that prevents loading the web version directly from the template preview.

To test the template’s web preview, you must first request a test message.

In the template editor, follow these steps:

  1. Return to the editor.
  2. Click Options.
  3. Select the Send test option.
  4. Send the template to your email and click the link in the message you receive to view the web version.

When previewing a campaign, just click the Send test email button.

This procedure lets you verify that the web version of the template is working correctly.
